News

We have had three adoptions in the last three weeks! Congratulations to those piggies and their new families! Please see our Happy Endings page for their stories!

A special thanks to Linda and Brenda for helping transport Cleo and Layla to their new home all the way in Newnan, GA!

We recently rescued 9 pigs all the way from Alabama! Thanks to a piggy train, we now have these lucky pigs in our care! Thanks to Diana and Linda for making this all possible!

We have found a fantastic vet in the Columbia area! Dr. Emily Hoppmann recently treated Memphis for a URI and my personal pig Penny for an abscess, she proved to be very knowledgeable and helpful. We at the SC rescue recommend her to everyone! Please see this website for information on her veterinary services!

Foster Homes Needed!

Due to lack of foster homes we must limit the number of guinea pigs we are able to help. We need homes that will keep guinea pigs for anywhere from a few months to a year. Many times it takes this long for pigs to be adopted especially if they are female and on a pregnancy watch. If you can open your home up for a time frame of longer than 30 days please have a look at our How You Can Help page.
